A Yom Kippur Message

The Torah teaches that one of the seven creations that preceded the universe was teshuva - repentance.  From here we see that G-d knew we'd make mistakes.

This is such an important idea to keep in mind coming in to Yom Kippur.  We are responsible to avoid mistakes.  But we will make them.  As I've quoted the Talmud before: "A person doesn't err unless a spirit of insanity overtakes him."

What's our biggest insanity?  That we shouldn't be subject to insanity.

One of the reasons I'm so excited about our upcoming webinar, Healthy Love, with the Rosenblatts is because they understand this deeply.  Check out the videos on this page and the event page to watch for yourself a taste of their genuine and humble understanding.

May we merit to admit to being part of the human condition and use this upcoming Holy Day to work and turn to Hashem for the gift of forgiveness.

Warm regards, Henry Harris
